The web forgets.
We don't.
LinkJar is a place to keep the things you find. Owned by you, private when you want it, and impossible to lose to a company that loses interest. Eight things we hold to.
Your jar is yours.
Everything you save lives in a repository that belongs to you, built on an open protocol. Not our database, not for rent. If LinkJar disappeared tomorrow, your links would still be yours to take.
Private means private.
Your Private Jar is locked on your device before it ever reaches us. We don't ask you to trust a promise not to look. We built it so we can't. The only key is yours.
No algorithm.
No feed ranking your attention. No ads wearing the costume of recommendations. You follow people, you see what they save, newest first. Nothing decides for you.
Nothing gets lost.
Export everything, any time. Switch providers. Self-host if you want to. The door is always unlocked, because it's your door.
Quiet on purpose.
No streaks, no badges, no notifications begging for a tap. A calm place for the things worth keeping, and nothing else.
Open source.
The app you use is open source. Anyone can read it, audit it, or fork it, so “private by mathematics” is a claim you can check, not one you have to take on faith.
Built on AT Protocol.
LinkJar runs on AT Protocol, the same open network behind Bluesky. Your identity and your saves are portable by design. LinkJar is one client among many, never the gatekeeper.
Built in the open.
Our roadmap is public, and so is our progress. You can see what has shipped, what is next, and hold us to it. No surprises, no lock-in dressed up as a feature.
Your links. Your jar.
Forever.
