A library you can keep.
Link Jar is a bookmark manager and read-later app. Save links, organize them into boards, and keep readable copies. Your links live in your own AT Protocol account.
What can I do with Link Jar?
Save a link while you browse, add tags and notes, and return to find or read it. Boards bring related links together. A snapshot is a readable page copy you can keep for later; capture depends on the source page.
Choose public or private saves. Private links are encrypted on your device before upload. Requested previews, snapshots and AI features have separate data flows, explained in the privacy policy.
Do I need a Bluesky account?
You need an AT Protocol account. An existing Bluesky account can work with Link Jar without moving to a new host. You can also create an account through linkjar.social's free, invite-only hosting beta.
How are linkjar.io and linkjar.social related?
linkjar.io is the home of the Link Jar app, downloads and guides. linkjar.social is the account-hosting service. Hosting an account and choosing an app are separate decisions.
AT Protocol lets compatible hosts move an account while preserving its permanent identifier. Migration needs account records, referenced files and identity changes. Read the account-migration guide before changing hosts.
Who runs Link Jar?
Link Jar is built by Uros Karic in Belgrade, Serbia. The hosted account service is provided by Codepolyglots, as described in the hosting terms. Contact hello@linkjar.io.
Follow the Link Jar project on GitHub, read the development notes and explore the product principles.
The account server's source is public. The Link Jar app repository is currently private. The public guides and development notes explain the app's data and recovery model.
